Packaging changes

Dear Customer,

in this phase of particular commitment required by the market trend to the UNIFORM structure, we reaffirm the corporate goal to honor service, quality and operations offered to our customers.

As part of the analysis carried out to satisfy the conditions for maintaining this goal, we have identified some discrepancies inherent in the type of order requested and its customisation.

In particular, references requested and ordered as a «full 6-metre bar» become – with unexpectedly high frequency – the subject of changes in size and quantity at the time of collection (e.g. a request to cut to size to facilitate loading on board vehicles with reduced capacity compared to what is necessary ). These «special» requests have a significant impact on the quality and safety of packaging and shipping, including handling by our forklift truck drivers, who are required to do their job quickly and efficiently.

We therefore find it appropriate to point out that, in order to comply with specifications and regulations, orders that go beyond the standard «full 6-metre bar» are considered as customisation and as such must be processed by the Technical Department and go through a transformation process in our production chain, implying the consequent and inherent costs and times of conversion and planning.

Since this is a clarification of an already known management method, the procedure for correct management and association is immediately applicable
